Lucid Dreamers

 I finally got the new garage roof on and am cleaning out the garage and putting new doors on it and then I’ll be able to get back to mixing the songs that are left to mix for the cd!!

I did mix a few more songs in the last few weeks so I’m getting closer all the time.

I’ve really fallen behind in my studio work but hope to get cought up soon!

I’ve also been recording a cd of original songs by a local songwriter named Jack Curry .I’m helping produce him and playing a bunch of the musical tracks on it and look forward to rapping that up some day soon. We will be bringing in some guest players on a few songs in the next few weeks if all goes well.Jacks a great songwriter and good guy! I’ll keep everyone posted on his cd as we go along!

Hey everyone out there!

I’m reporting back in to give an update on the mixing of the new cd”Telepathy” !

As it turns out, I just did the drum track over on one of the songs that was already mixed because I felt that I could do the drum track better then I did on it six years ago when I first did the song!Once I did that then we heard vocals that were out of time in one section of the song and fixed them as well, so now I have to mix the song over again and then I still have half of the cd  left to mix .

 I’ve also been busy working on my garage,adding cinder blocks around the top and this week we will be putting a whole new metal roof on it! I can’t wait to get it finished !!

I hope to mix two songs this week!

Hi out there Dreamers, We”re finally opening it up to relate to all of you. For any of you that know me, this is unusual and rare but it”s time.

We are excited about the new cd ,as soon as Stace gets finished with the mixing that is!

I’ve been playing some solo shows and we are going to be working on playing live as Lucid Dreamers very soon!

Hey all of you Dreamers out there in Dreamland! This is our first blog post!!!Yes I know it’s about time to get up to date with our net presence,soooooo! Lucid Dreamers is still putting out new music and I’m in the middle of mixing our latest cd that will be called ” Telepathy“.

I have been mixing some of this cd for a while now and then what happens is, I decide to remix this song again and then that song again and again and well, here it is, only half the cd is mixed now but I promise to buckle down and get it wrapped up!

I’m excited about this new cd because we are sounding more and more like we are formulating our own unique sound with each cd we do.

I have updated the studio with some new gear and even have a new studio building since our last cd was released! We also have been recording a bunch of new songs for our 4th cd on top of what I’m mixing, so that means we will be putting out a 4th cd a few months after the 3rd cd is released.

We also have an instrumental cd we are working on that is getting close to being finished so I really have my work cut out for me in terms of mixing and fixing any last minute edits and tracks etc….. All of this plus putting up a new green house and new roof on my garage etc…..

I plan to post my progress every week until the cd “Telepathy” is ready to be released!
